STEP 1 - APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION

Students must submit the following documentation to the IQS General Secretary at any time after January 10th:
 
  • 1 passport-size photo
  • Photocopy of ID card (or passport)
  • Certificate of results of the penultimate year of secondary school and partial evaluations already taken in the final year of secondary school. If you are not studying the Spanish Bachillerato, certificate of the studies being taken. Results of final year of secondary school and of university entrance exam, if available. If you are accessing the university via a different route, some other types of document may be required.
  • Payment of 225 € admissions processing fee.

STEP 2 – ADMISSION EXAMINATION

STUDENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE THE ADMISSION EXAMINATION WITHOUT HAVING SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED STEP 1.
 
Once STEP 1 has been completed, students need to select one of the scheduled dates to take the admission exam.

  • Thursday 30th march
  • Thursday 20th april
  • Tuesday 2nd may
  • Tuesday 16th may

  • Thursday 29th june

The admission exam lasts approximately 3.5 hours and consists of several psychometric tests and an English test.

 
STEP 3 – COMMUNICATION OF THE ADMISSION DECISION

Your admission is decided by the Admissions Commission, based on the studies you have undertaken and the results obtained, together with the results report of the Admission Exam. The IQS Secretary’s office will notify you of the Commission’s decision by e-mail. If admitted, you will be informed about the registration process and how to reserve a place.

In the event of a student not being accepted, IQS will refund the deposit by bank transfer to the bank account of the student's choice.

 
 

WELCOME AND TUTORING SESSIONS

Once you have been registered, prior to the start of the course, you and your classmates will be invited to a meeting at which the Director of the center, the Dean and the first year Study Coordinator and Tutor will be present. The main guidelines of IQS, and more particularly the mission of the center, will be explained during the meeting. You will also be offered practical advice to help you integrate at the University.

During the first academic year, you will receive the support and help of the tutor in charge of first year students; he or she will be available to provide students with the necessary information and support. From the second year onwards, students will be assigned a personal tutor who will follow students' academic development throughout the degree.

 

PERSONAL COMPUTER

At the beginning of the first year, you will receive a laptop, which is included in the tuition fees. Software licenses and access to the e-learning tools necessary for each subject will be provided. All IQS premises are equipped with a wireless Internet connection and you will be given a personal e-mail address.
