Program substantially equivalent to accredited engineering programs in the United States (ABET, Accreditation Board for Enginnering and Technology, USA)
To train graduates who:
1. Apply their knowledge of basic sciences (maths, statistics, physics and
chemistry) to Chemical Engineering.
2. Use the foundations of Chemical Engineering in researching, designing,
developing and applying new products and processes in a wide range of
chemistry-related production sectors.
3. Are able to join teams including professionals from other disciplines and
use new technologies for Chemical Engineering in their work. Our
graduates should be able to express technical information in such a way
that it is comprehensible to all listeners.
4. Become responsible, ethical chemical engineers who are fully aware of
the impact of their work on the environment and on the social and
economic development of the country.
5.Recognise the need for lifelong learning in order to achieve full
professional development.
Students interested in chemistry, maths, physics and IT who have an intellectually inquiring mind and seek solid training that will pave the way for a professional career in the field of chemical engineering in designing, synthesising, analysing and applying new materials and processes.
