Doctor Enginyer Químic (IQS, 1987), Enginyer Químic per IQS (1982), Llicenciat en Ciències (Bioquímica) (UAB, 1987). Post-doctorat en Bioquímica i Biologia Molecular (University of California, Berkeley, 1988-1989), Investigador (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, 1990-1992). Professor a IQS des de 1993.
