The admission to the Doctoral Program in Bioengineering can be requested at any time during the academic year. The admission procedure to the Doctoral Program consists of the following stages:

  • The interested student requests an interview with the coordinator of the Doctorate Program in Bioengineering.
  • The candidate requests admission to the Academic Committee of the Doctoral Program (CAPD), providing the relevant documentation that will be provided by the coordinator of the Doctoral Program.
  • Depending on the academic interests of the candidate, the CAPD contacts the corresponding Department, requesting an assessment report.
  • The candidate exposes his/her doctoral thesis project to the Department, which assesses the project, the suitability of the candidate to develop it, the availability of material resources and funding, and issues an assessment report signed by the Director / a of the Department.
  • The CAPD assesses the Department's report and the candidate's academic record and issues its resolution weighing them 50% in each case. In the event of a positive resolution, the CAPD assigns a tutor and a Thesis Director.
