1. What do you like most about your job?

The daily interactions I have both with my peers and with students: learning, teaching, talking, joking, and any combination of the above.

2. What would you like to spend more time doing?

Enjoying the sea. It's right here next to us and we don't make the most of it. Spending time learning to sail doesn't sound like a bad idea!

3. What are you proudest of?

My family: my wife, who has supported me on our "grand adventure" in Spain (Alicante, Madrid, then Barcelona) for more than 10 years. She's also the best mother in the world! My eldest son (Oliver, 5), who speaks better Catalan than me, and my youngest son (Abel, 1) who has "read" more books over the last month than me.

4. What value do you appreciate most in people?

Honesty, especially regarding humour: I don't like fake humour at all.

5. Where's a place you'd like to visit?

The Nürburgring race track, doing laps in my favourite old Japanese car.

6. What's a dream you'd like to pursue?

Enjoying the perfect barbeque in a cabin lost out in the countryside in Uruguay.

7. What do you have left to learn?

Being optimistic, I've just reached the middle of my life. So I've only learned about the first half of "everything." I still have the other half left! Going back to talking about dreams, I'd like to learn about car mechanics on a professional level.
