IQS and the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce have signed a collaboration agreement to promote innovation and entrepreneurship for startups, aiming to bring the services that the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce offers to entrepreneurs to companies that have been created through IQS Tech Factory, the entrepreneurship support hub at the university.

The agreement between the two entities has been signed by the Managing Director of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, Eva Borràs Balcells, the Director of IQS, Salvador Borrós, and the IQS Director of Administration, Sonia Amorós.

Through this agreement, the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce is offering services to emerging companies that IQS supports, including entrepreneurship, innovation, digital transformation, and internationalization with the aim of enhancing this generation of talent in the industrial field.

Among other features, the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce will offer consulting on establishing companies, enhance connections with the rest of the innovation ecosystem in Catalonia, give guidance in areas such as launching exports, and facilitate access to the flexible spaces of the cambraDigital Hub, located at the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce's headquarters on the Avenida Diagonal in Barcelona. Finally, industrial careers and talent attraction are also being promoted.

IQS fosters an entrepreneurial spirit among the university community, offering entrepreneurs a wide range of resources and services to help them successfully create a company or business. With this in mind, the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce views this agreement as an opportunity to continue developing some of the lines within the Catalonia 2030/40 Strategy such as promoting entrepreneurship and innovation, the digital economy, and internationalization.
