• Internships

All students in the Undergraduate Program in Chemical Engineering undertake internships in research centres or paid interships in companies in the sector for the equivalent of 6 credits. The IQS Careers Service helps students to find internships and provides them with advice and information.

Internships in companies are compulsory and they represent a great value for students for the following reasons:

They provide the students' first contact with the labour market

They help the students to orient their professional path, according to their interests.

They provide students with the opportunity to put theoretical knowledge and skills into practice

They facilitate the students' job placement.

They add value to the students' CVs
