subjects

Applications of Genomics, Proteomics and HTS (3 ECTS).

research area

Proteomics applied to biomedical research, particularly in oncology. Mass spectrometry and protein array based proteomic analysis. Current research is focused on the application of proteomic techniques to the identification and characterization of substrates of metalloproteases of the ADAM and ADAMTS families, to elucidate their role in tumor growth and metastasis.
