Social Plugins

IQS, IQS Tech Transfer S.A., and the IQS Business Foundation use the social plugins of social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, and Google+.

The social plugins on our website are deactivated by default, that is, they are not activated nor are data sent to our social networks without the website user activating them. Therefore, in order to use the social plugins, you must activate them by clicking on them. The purpose and reason for collecting data from social networks, your rights, and available options for protecting your personal data are described in the data protection notices on each of these social networks.

IP address processing

For the purposes of technical security and systems diagnosis, in an anonymized or aggregated way, IQS, IQS Tech Transfer S.A., and the IQS Business Foundation may record the IP address (the device’s Internet access identification number which enables devices, systems, and servers to recognize and communicate with each other). This information may also be used for web performance analytical purposes.

Anonymous browsing through the websites

IQS, IQS Tech Transfer S.A., and the IQS Business Foundation obtain anonymous information about their visitors, meaning that such information cannot be associated with a specific, identified user. The following data are stored:

  1. The name of the Internet Service Provider (ISP) that gives a user access to the network. For example, a user of the provider XXX only will be identified with the domain xxx.es. This way we can compile statistics on the countries and servers that most frequently visit our website.
  2. Time and date of access to the website. This enables us to know the busiest hours and make the necessary adjustments to avoid access problems.
  3. The web address that contained the link used to arrive at our website. With this data, we can discover the effectiveness of the different buttons and links pointing to our server in order to promote the ones that deliver the best results.
  4. The daily number of visitors to each page of the website. This lets us know the most viewed pages and increase and enhance their content so users can obtain a more satisfactory result.

Cookies Policy

IQS, IQS Tech Transfer, and the IQS Business Foundation use cookies to be able to know your preferences, thus optimizing the presentation of the pages on the website. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your device when you visit almost any website. They enable the website to remember your visit the next time you browse that page. Cookies usually store technical information, personal preferences, content personalization, usage statistics, links to social networking sites, access to user accounts, etc. The purpose of a cookie is to adapt the contents of the website to your profile and needs. Without cookies, the services offered by any website would be significantly undermined. Cookies help us to identify the most visited pages of the website on the Internet so we can specifically adapt the content to your needs. Likewise, cookies make it possible to know if you have already visited our website. The information that a cookie generates about you is only stored if you allow it (for example, to simplify access to a protected site through the use of a username and password in such a way that you do not have to enter the username and password each time you want to access the site). Cookies are only associated with your anonymous user and do not allow access to personal data nor, in general, to data on your hard drive. Your acceptance is not required to visit or use the website.

If you wish to learn more about cookies, what they store, and how to remove them, disable them, and so on, please go to the “use of cookies” link.

Nowadays, all browsers allow you to avoid the storage of cookies on your hard drive through the “disable cookies” option. You can also delete the cookies stored on your computer at any time. If you do not enable the use of cookies, it may affect your browsing of the website.
