What does the Master's Degree in Biopharmaceutical Business entail?

The Master's Degree in Biopharmaceutical Business is designed for students who wish to develop their professional potential with businesses in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical technology sectors based on the demand from these companies for highly qualified professionals.

Both IQS professors and more than 30 professionals from inside the industry will teach classes and share real case studies related to global companies in this sector.

The objective of this master's degree is to prepare new professionals who are ready to take on a wide variety of positions within the biopharmaceutical sector in an international work setting, equipped with a cross-disciplinary technical and business vision of the different areas that make up this crucial industry.

Students will develop this professional vision based on the following objectives:

  • Acquiring knowledge about the functions, value chain, and technical, commercial, and financial aspects that are specific to the biopharmaceutical sector.
  • Developing key competences such as analytical ability, critical thinking, leadership abilities, and managing teams.
  • Applying the acquired knowledge and skills to a real work environment through in-company internships.

Objectives of the Master's Degree in Biopharmaceutical Business

The main objective of the master's degree is to prepare you with all the resources you need to take on a competitive and international professional environment in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical technology industries.
