IQS has recently signed a partnership agreement with Tech Barcelona to strengthen its commitment to technological entrepreneurship and consolidate its connections to the city's business ecosystem.

The projects supported by IQS Tech Factory, the entrepreneurship and innovation unit at the school, will have direct access to Tech Barcelona's network of businesses, activity programming, and contents.

Tech Barcelona, which works to consolidate Barcelona as a benchmark international technological and digital hub, represents more than 1,200 companies and has more than 80 partner organizations, all leaders in their sectors, and is committed to innovation and technology. This agreement solidifies the presence of IQS within the city's entrepreneurial ecosystem and favours the development of businesses created within the university environment.

“At IQS Tech Factory we inspire our community of future entrepreneurs and provide the resources and networking they need to help transform ideas into businesses,” said Carlos Malet, Associate Director of Strategy and Business at IQS.

For Miquel Martí, CEO of Tech Barcelona, “the partnership with a leading educational centre such as IQS strengthens Tech Barcelona's commitment to promoting technology transfer processes and the creation of innovative business opportunities. With IQS, we're working with an institution that is heavily involved in this strategy and boasts a complete vision of the business sector thanks to its School of Engineering and School of Management."
