The IQS Undergraduate Programme in Tourism solidifies its standing among the Best in Spain

The Undergraduate Programme in Tourism and Hospitality Management taught by the IQS School of Management (URL) has once again earned 2nd place in Spain in the field of “Hospitality and Leisure Management” in the QS World University Ranking by Subject 2022.

The Undergraduate Programme in Tourism and Hospitality Management taught by the IQS School of Management (URL) has once again earned 2nd place in Spain in the field of "Hospitality and Leisure Management" in the QS World University Ranking by Subject 2022. This is the third consecutive year that the Undergraduate Programme in Tourism and Hospitality Management has been ranked as the second best programme in the field throughout all of Spain.

The QS World University Ranking by Subject is one of the most prestigious international university rankings, measuring excellence at more than 1,543 institutions of higher education. Among the criteria that the ranking uses, academic reputation and employability stand out. These criteria are backed up by 75,000 responses from a reputation survey that reflects graduates' readiness and their employment rates and quality.

The Undergraduate Programme in Tourism and Hospitality Management combines teaching skills to lead and manage companies with developing competences related to hospitality and leisure activities. Academic rigour, an international scope, and professional development are the three main features of the programme. In addition, IQS's Career Services department handles internships for students during their studies and helps them with job placement after they graduate.

The educational offering at IQS in the field of Hospitality also includes the Master's Degree in Hotel Management and the Master's Degree in Event Management and Business Tourism, ranking among the five best specialized tourism programmes according to the ElMundo 2021 ranking. Taught by IQS Executive Education, these programmes offer top-tier specialized education for professionals who want to advance their career in the sector.

Ramon Llull University's ranking has improved compared to the previous year in the area of Social Sciences & Management and now stands at 3rd place in Spain and 82nd worldwide out of 526 institutions that have been ranked.
