IQS was present once again at the Saló de l´Ensenyament Education Fair – back after not being held during the pandemic – to provide information and guidance to future university students and their families about IQS undergraduate programmes. During the five days activities were held at the Fair, which opened on 16 March, the wide interest shown in the undergraduate programmes offered by IQS was clearly evident based on the vast number of visitors to the IQS stand.

Professors, students, and staff from the Communications and Admissions departments at IQS were on site to welcome more than 2,000 secondary school students who were interested in the undergraduate programmes and dual undergraduate programmes taught by the IQS School of Engineering and the IQS School of Management.

At this year's edition of the Fair, now in its 31st year, IQS showcased the new Undergraduate Programme in Biomedical Sciences, a four-year bachelor's degree (240 credit hours), which will be offered beginning in upcoming academic year 2022-23. This programme’s objective is for students to discover the biological foundations that lead to the appearance of diseases in humans. It is one of the undergraduate programmes that aroused the greatest interest among secondary school students at the Fair.

Another new feature at the IQS stand was the Undergraduate Programme in Tourism and Hospitality Management which has been part of the offering at the IQS School of Management since last September following the addition of the Sant Ignasi Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management (HTSI) and its programmes to IQS. Another distinctive and innovative possibility is the Dual Undergraduate Programme in Tourism and Marketing that IQS has designed and will feature as a new offering for the upcoming academic year.

It's also worth highlighting that, within the framework of the Saló de l’Ensenyament Education Fair, IQS participated in the Espaiciència science area through two activities. One of the activities consisted of a workshop in the field of chemistry to help students prepare for the university access exam, specifically, activity 2.2: Experimental observation of the direction of displacement of an equilibrium when the concentration, the pressure, or the temperature are varied. The second activity was entitled "Learning to develop a Covid-19 vaccine based on nanoparticles and mRNA."

In addition, IQS was present at the seventeenth edition of Futura, the Master's and Postgraduate Fair. On Friday 18 March and Saturday 19 March, IQS took part in Ramon Llull University's stand to present the master's, dual master's, and doctoral degrees at its two university faculties as well as its Executive Education postgraduate diplomas.
