Objectives of the Undergraduate Programme

The Undergraduate Programmes in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering share a two years of study as a common which allows the students to decide their preferred track later.

Competences to be aquired

Students in the Undergraduate Programme in Chemical Engineering will acquire the following competences:

Ability to apply knowledge ofchemistry, bioscience and engineering into the chemical and biomolecular sciences.

Capacity to use general knowledge of economics, technical English, ethics and management in the field of chemical and biomolecular sciences.

Ability to understand advanced topics in chemistry and biosciences for practical application of chemical and biomolecular sciences.

Possibility to lab work to obtain the results established in theoretical experiments.

Ability to use systems, components and processes to meet established requirements.

Ability to identify, formulate and solve basic problems in the fields of mathematics, chemistry, physics, information technology, biology, biosciences and engineering.

Capacity to analyse, integrate and interpret data and information in the field of chemistry and biosciences.

Ability to apply new techniques and tools used in chemical and biomolecular sciences.

Possibility to design new processes and experiments to obtain innovative results.

Capability to evaluate the risks of using chemical and biological substances.
